about
Gryllotalpa is a song about the mole cricket, which only sings at night from the mouth of its underground home. That's why it is usually said that they sing to the moon, like poets do.
Composed exclusively from insect sounds by Gryllotalpa gryllotalpa: some have been incorporated as real sounds, and some have been sampled and processed to become the different instruments in the song (drum kit, shakers, tones, etc.).
Many insects can't identify their species or others from the looks, so they recognize each other through sound
lyrics
guardeu-me
l'amor vernal l'amor subterrani
guardeu-me la terra car sense terra gana

Can't help it, I'm hooked to the bone to this funky munky. The more I listen to it- read about it- & watch it, the better it gets. Where will this end? I'm a junky, in desperate need of every shot I can get of this stuff. This link will show you a mini-docu which gives a great inside of who he is and what he does. Enjoy!
