Phanero Sibylla is a song about deep listening.

Composed exclusively from insect sounds by Phaneroptera nana: some have been incorporated as real sounds, and some have been sampled and processed to become the different instruments in the song (drum kit, shakers, pad, etc.).

The Southern sickle bush-cricket sings at a very high pitch, within the range of ultrasounds. When we reduce the speed reproduction of its real recordings, we are able to hear their pulse-song. We imagined that, by understanding her, we could decipher the planet's future.
